Lift Struts Catalog

Airframes Alaska’s Lifetime Struts satisfy all current FAA Airworthiness Directives and do not require annual inspections.  Our Heavy Duty Rear Struts are manufactured from specialty steel that provides significantly enhanced tensile strength and protects valuable wings from wind and snow load damage.  Struts come bare metal or powder coated to your specifications. **Prices subject to change without notice due to fluctuations in shipping and steel costs.

Powder Coat Pricing

If you are like most customers, you will want your struts powder coated.
Once a strut is sealed, it cannot be powder coated.  However. Airframes Alaska employs a process to powder coat struts to your specifications: We inventory our struts bare.  Upon order, we powder coat to your specifications.  Following inspection, we oil and seal the strut at the outboard end of the strut via an 1/8" hole.  That hole is then rosette welded and painted.  

Powder Coat to Primer: $47 per strut

Lifetime PA-18 Strut Set

Set includes lifetime sealed heavy duty rear struts (2), lifetime sealed heavy duty front struts (2), stainless steel 5/8" forks (4) and rear jury strut clamps (2).  Struts come bare metal or powder coated to your specifications.

PA-12/14 Lifetime Heavy Duty Rear Strut

Includes 5/8" forks.  Upon customer request, we will include rear jury strut clamps.  Note: The original PA-12 strut clamps used 11/16" steel tubing which is no longer widely available.  We fabricate our clamps with 5/8" x .049 tubing.  Installation will require minor shimming with friction tape or some other material or more extensive bolt tightening to close the difference in diameter.
